HISTORY OF SHAMROCK
In ancient Ireland, the Celtic people revered the shamrock as a sacred plant because it symbolized the rebirth of spring. Noticing that Pagan Irish had great difficulty comprehending the doctrine of the Trinity, Saint Patrick held up a shamrock and showed how the three leaves combined to make a single plant; just as the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost combined to make the Holy Trinity. The Irish understood immediately, and from that time the shamrock has been a major symbol of Ireland and its celebrations.
Our Shamrock is grown in West Cork, Ireland.

St. Patrick's Shamrock Company is a small family run business that has provided fresh shamrock worldwide from Ireland for over thirty years for Saint Patrick's Day celebrations and events.
We have supplied the Irish Government with shamrock for many presentations to the President of the United States, the Pope, and numerous other international dignitaries. We have also supplied numerous corporations and small companies for use at St. Patrick's Day luncheons, dinners, and receptions.
Our shamrock is grown in West Cork, Ireland and is certified free from roots and soil by the Irish Agriculture Dept. in order for export outside of Ireland.
